Be prepared to be evaluated under a new management system which is called Management by Objective; you are given a task and you must do your best to meet all of the requirements that you have been given.

If you want to be successful in this field you seriously may need to work on your self-management skills and see to it that you set yourself up a schedule and follow it. Let’s face it, if your work is not on time and done properly what are the odds that one of these companies are going to continue to use your service?

You will have your independence when it comes to work but you need to be self-disciplined, motivated and organized; these are all necessary skills to get ahead as a teleworker. Before you take a walk down this path get yourself organized and make arrangements for a work space where there will be no interruptions to your productive hours in the teleworking arena.
